Who we work with

Healthcare organizations that have outgrown spreadsheet reporting

If your numbers live in several systems, month-end takes too long, and nobody agrees which report is right, we can help. That's especially true after an acquisition brings in yet another system.

Offerings

Five ways we help

Most clients start with an assessment or a single build, then keep us on to run and extend what we've built.

Data Platform Assessment

For groups that inherited a data environment nobody fully understands A good first engagement

A fixed-scope review of your existing warehouse, pipelines and Power BI. We trace every report back to its sources, document how the platform really works, and give leadership a plain-language overview and a register of the risks and gaps we found.

ProofAnesthesia management company: 7+ sources, 100+ pipelines, fully documented

Healthcare Data Platform

For groups whose data is spread across disconnected systems

We build or extend a data warehouse in your own Azure environment that brings together practice management, EHR, billing, HR and accounting data. It includes scheduled pipelines, quality checks on every file, and loads that recover on their own.

Revenue Cycle and Financial Reporting

For CFOs and controllers who close the month in spreadsheets

Integrated financial statements, revenue recognition, collections waterfalls, journal entries and revenue cycle reporting, all reconciled to your billing system and general ledger. Built by an accountant, so the numbers tie out.

Reporting Operations and Automation

For teams spending hours on manual files and fragile refreshes

We keep reporting healthy and affordable. That means automated file exchanges with billing and collections vendors, monitoring that catches problems before users do, performance tuning, and Microsoft Fabric and Power BI cost optimization.

Fractional Data Leadership

For groups and PE platforms not ready to hire a full-time data director

Ongoing ownership of your data function: setting priorities with leadership, integrating acquisitions, managing vendors, and keeping reporting accurate as the business grows. Senior-level judgment, part-time.

A warehouse built from scratch, reconciled to the penny

Designed and built the group's Azure data warehouse across its practice management, EHR and optical systems, then supported the move of several practices from one billing system to another with clean cutover rules, so no activity was counted twice.

  • Charges and payments reconcile to the penny against the billing system's own reports
  • Found and fixed a silent data gap affecting about 400 source tables, with a monthly full reload as an ongoing safeguard
  • Expanded provider matching about sevenfold, so nearly every charge resolves to a provider

One warehouse for clinical, billing, HR and accounting data

Automated vendor files and lower reporting costs

Automated the weekly account file for a patient-financing partner and the daily statement files from a collections vendor. Both pipelines reject bad files and retry on their own without creating duplicates. Also cut reporting's share of Microsoft Fabric capacity and fixed duplicate rows that were overstating balances.

Data PlatformQuality Reporting

HEDIS well-child reporting across four practices

Built revenue cycle and well-child quality reporting on Azure, including a daily quality pipeline with fast incremental updates, a validated practice-management integration that confirms every expected file arrives, and a full documentation package at handoff.

Assessment

Making an inherited platform understandable

Traced every Power BI report back to its sources across a 7+ source, 100+ pipeline revenue cycle platform. Delivered layered technical documentation, an executive overview, and a findings register that surfaced pipeline gaps, refresh-timing issues and hard-coded GL mappings.

Transfusion services company
Data PlatformFinancial Reporting

Two systems, one set of financials

Integrated data from two operating systems and built collections waterfall reporting and integrated financial statements on top of it.

Approach

How a build runs

  1. Discover

Inventory your systems, reports and the questions leadership can't answer today.

  2. Land

Pull raw data from each source into the bronze layer on a schedule, with quality checks.

  3. Conform

Clean, de-duplicate and align patients, providers, locations, payers and charge codes.

  4. Reconcile

Build gold facts and tie them out to each vendor's reports and the general ledger.

  5. Report

Deliver Power BI reporting, documentation and ongoing support.
